Collage Jacket TRUNK SHOW with Kelli
Welcome to the creative endeavor I call making quilted art jackets! We’re going to have a ton of fun a this trunk show. I may have a problem and you can see all the collage jackets that I have made. Come see and touch. Kelli will be available to help you shop. She is teaching this class here in Cache at the end of March @ the Quilters Retreat.
I love making these jackets. They’re like potato chips – You can’t have just one!! They are easy, just not super fast – and I will give you insights into all of the things I’ve learned of what NOT TO DO.

| Instructor Bio: | Kelli Howery Art Clothing maker and Quilter What happens when you run out of places for quilts and you still NEED to have the latest fabric? You wear it of course! Around the time Kelli?s kids could talk and mentioned they were drowning in quilts, Kelli fed her lust for wonderful fabric by turning it into art clothing and she loves quilted jackets. She has been turning out crafty sewn things since she was a child and talked a neighbor into selling her a sewing machine. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art with an emphasis in Painting. When she isn?t creating, she works full time, rides herd on two boys and a husband and on occasion sleeps. She drives too fast, cooks too little, hates panty hose and other things that poke her, and rarely met a dessert she didn?t want to try. She specializes in madcap schemes, getting things done and making the impossible seem doable and fun. |
